Addressing Accusations

Addressing Accusations

It is unfortunate, but we have found it necessary to produce the following  video to meet some accusations that have been made against us here in the Dakotas.  As you will hear, these accusations are documented but are unfounded and untrue.  While we don’t want to enter into a campaign of self-defense, we do believe that the nature of some of these accusations is so serious and so liable to cause the unwary to err, that we find it expedient to meet them.   Please listen prayerfully:

Acts 4:23 ” And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them. ”

For those of you who read this and are concerned about “Matthew 18”,  we actually DID follow the process of going one on one then with a witness, etc, however we do not believe Matthew 18 is the passage most applicable to this case.  Rather, this passage is most applicable:

1 Timothy 5:19,20  “Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.   Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” (See 2 Testimonies, 14-17)  What we are addressing was public.

Further, we want to clarify, while we have scheduled for Brother Mamon Wilson to come share with us his expertise on Natural Remedies the first weekend in June, that we are not affiliated with the Free SDA church.  Neither are we affiliated with any other group aside from the Seventh-day Adventist church.

  1. Amen! Amen! Amen!

Praise God for laying on your hearts to put this out there. You are both faithful servants, May God continue to bless you and your ministry as we see the great day of the Lord approaching!

    The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall.{Ed 57.3}

  2. As someone who has been to almost all of their bible studies, I agree with every single aspect of this video. Nothing was taught that was not backed up by either the bible or the Spirit of Prophecy. I was not asked by the 2 people in this video to post my support, but I’m voluntarily doing it because I want every single person reading this to know where I stand. I’m 21 years old, one of the “young” people who want to be a Seventh Day Adventist. Why? Because of the unique doctrines that no other church teaches that the bible and Spirit of Prophecy refer to, and only because of those truths. The only things that have been taught by the 2 people in this video are the things that Christians need to know regarding the last days that we are in. Anyone denying that we are in the last days is going against overwhelming evidence to the contrary. I’m tired of all of the taunting and jeering I hear regarding what these 2 teach and incidentally, I hope to have the privilege to teach other people the same exact truths that Danna and Kalon and many other traditional Seventh Day Adventists are teaching.

  3. AMEN!!! Praise God for people like you and Kalon who aren’t afraid to teach the biblical truth. My heart goes out to the “elite” that will be fooled and lose their salvation. I pray for the Holy Spirit to give us discernment in these end times. Pray for me as I continue to pray for you and all my Adventist brothers and sisters!

    God bless you both!!

  4. Let me just say I think you both are wonderful people. I have known Kalan many year, but have not had the pleasure of meeting you Danna. I have been where you are; I think I understand almost completely your point of view. There are subtle differences in HFT and LGT. For all practical purposes, Holy Flesh Teaching and Last Generation Theology are identical psychologically; the last day believer must be perfect in order to “stand in the final judgment without a mediator” GC 425 which leads the believer to mental and spiritual instability by looking to self and not to Christ. “But we have an anchor of the soul sure and stedfast” which is firmly connected in the presence of God and that Anchor is Christ. Heb. 6:20

Personal perfection might not be what you mean by Last Generation Theology, so please correct me if I am wrong. I agree with you that we should not sell Andreason’s book or any other book that turns our attention inward away from Christ and to self. May God bless you both.

    1. Dear Bro. Lindensmith,
Last Generation Theology takes hold (and I believe Andreasen teaches this), of the righteousness of Christ wholly, while recognizing that we are to “strive to enter in”. This does not mean we look to self, for in self there is NO hope! But while looking to Jesus, taking hold of the strong for strength, we can not only surrender, but stay surrendered. This means Jesus guides my steps. (Please consider watching this presentation on our web page: Bible and SOP are full of such teaching. If you would like a more thoroughgoing study on this, please contact me. God bless you,
      Danna Gesellchen

  5. I did not view the video (it is 4 am and hubby is sleeping) – but I don’t need to see or hear it as I believe you two are just great! Also I have not listened to any criticism and do not plan to in the future. Gossip is terrible; I have expoerienced it as well in the past. Don;t worry about it’ I know that is hard to do, but Jesus knows the truth and He LOVES you! I know from your comments in SS that you are sincere, lovable Chdristians, and I ressect you. I can’t thinkk of a thing that y ou have said wrong – ever;

I have joined Ron W’s class and he is a good teacher too. There is also a danger that I will get into a conflicdt with Roger Q as he is in there too. But in that case it is not serious……we willl discuss it lsater at home. Ron used to be a history teacher and that aspoecdt comes out in class.

I hope this finds you happy and wealthy and wise! Also I annot see well, so overlook the misspeolled words please. Karene.

ps – ckeckk out the book The Chhina Study – shows how meat eating (or lack of it) has a relationshiop to cancer.None SDA study also mentions SDA, etc.

  6. My husband and I are in total agreement with what you are teaching and doing! Praise God for your courage to step out in faith in presenting this video! The similarities between what is going on in the Bismarck SDA church and the Aberdeen, SD SDA church are a sign to us that we truly are living in the last days and seeing prophecy fulfilled. May God help us all to be ready, and may God bless you both!

  7. Thank you Danna and Kalon for letting God lead you in sharing truth with those of us who hunger for it.I see your love for Jesus and the souls He died for.It is much easier to spread a lie than to establish the truth.Raising a doubt,or insinuating an evil motive is a simple thing compared to the vindication of a righteous character. Your sister in Christ, Jeanne

  8. Tony, I am so encouraged by your comment. To see a man as yourself at such a young age accept the truth as it is in God’s Word and in the midst of all that is taking place in His beloved church at this time, still stand on the side of truth is such a great testimony of His great love and mercy. I believe we are in the shaking time and pray that blind eyes will be opened and the faithful will remain faithful and true to God’s spoken Word in the Bible and SOP.

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and truth” John 4:24

  10. Accepting ” The righteousness of Christ” wholly, while recognizing that we are to “strive to enter in.” Strive to enter in–to what if I may ask? God’s Acceptance?

If so, then this is a rejection of Christ’s Righteousness! That is, if the meaning is “to strive to enter into” salvation. Any striving is only successful if it is motivated out of full acceptance NOW in Christ.

If the answer is: While fully accepted, to “strive to enter in” to a more perfect walk with Christ or in to perfection (small p) I agree with you. Jesus said, to strive to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect.

But notice what Jesus is talking about in the context of this statement. He is not asking us to strive for perfection in diet and food laws, but in love. To Love others perfectly. We must put our energies into this, not what we eat. Loving others is Jesus how has defined “perfection.” This was Jesus’ New Commandment “Love one another as I have Loved you!”

    Regarding foods: Jesus said:
15Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.” 17After he had left the crowd and entered the house, his disciples asked him† about this parable. 18“Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a person from the outside can defile them? 19 For it doesn’t go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.)

Spiritually, (declared all foods clean) I don’t eat unclean food myself, physically they are bad, I don’t eat them.
But no food will effect the spirit or soul of a person, but anger, pride, evil thoughts will. As Jesus explains:

20 He went on: “What comes out of a person is what defiles them. 21For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

    1. Brother Lindensmith,

In order to best answer your inquiry in regards to Last Generation Theology, I shall be brief and direct.
      1) God promises to “write My law in their hearts”
      2) His law is perfect, converting the soul.
      3) So that we may say, “Oh, how love I Thy law!!!”
      4) Then, realizing that Christ died to vindicate this law, seeing the value of it, and experiencing within ourselves the freedom it brings, we walk in his statutes and keep His judgments. This, so that, according to Dan 8:14, the sanctuary may be cleansed and our Lord be free from the burden of having to mop up our messes. He CAN keep us clean!!! JOY! FREEDOM!!! What a privilege!

Brother, contrary to what you expressed, I find that this teaching is the only thing that really brings happiness and joy. That which Jesus promised brings peace in tribulation, and this is what I have experienced. To me, obedience–from what I eat to what I wear and everything else, is all about love.

“The Saviour came to glorify the Father by the demonstration of His love; so the Spirit was to glorify Christ by revealing His grace to the world. The very image of God is to be reproduced in humanity. The honor of God, the honor of Christ, is involved in the perfection of the character of His people.” Desire of Ages 671

The striving comes when, because I love Him, I strive to “keep my body under”, this flesh that wants to gain the ascendency. It is expressed well here, and the entire section warrants careful study:

      He who determines to enter the spiritual kingdom will find that all the powers and passions of an unregenerate nature, backed by the forces of the kingdom of darkness, are arrayed against him. Selfishness and pride will make a stand against anything that would show them to be sinful. We cannot, of ourselves, conquer the evil desires and habits that strive for the mastery. We cannot overcome the mighty foe who holds us in his thrall. God alone can give us the victory. He desires us to have the mastery over ourselves, our own will and ways. But He cannot work in us without our consent and co-operation. The divine Spirit works through the faculties and powers given to man. Our energies are required to co-operate with God. {MB 141.3}

THIS is the only theology that makes any sense in the light of the sanctuary message…which is the foundation of our faith.

  11. Thank you Kalon and Danna, I am so very thankful for your willingness to speak the truth regardless of what people say or think. I believe that Gods return is VERY near and we MUST be ready. It’s not always easy to realize that some of the things we are doing are not correct or in agreement with God’s plan for us, but I thank God that you are willing to show us, from the Bible and SOP, so we can re-dedicate our lives to Him and make the changes that He wants to see in us. You are both faithful servants, May God continue to bless you! “Teach me Thy way, O Lord; I will walk in Thy truth: unite my heart to fear Thy name.” Psalm 86:11

  12. Tony….you are an amazing young man full of God’s grace!

Karene… bless your sweet, kind heart!

Kalon and Danna…God will bless you for standing up for HIM!!

  13. Dear Brother Kimber,

I will ask some of the “25-30 people who used to regularly worship at Bismarck” to respond to your questions.
It is far more than a misunderstanding, and many points were addressed in our video to help you understand the issues.
So far as Brother Brown, I am more than willing to stand corrected. I am going on information shared with me by 4-5 people who are long time members, as this happened before I arrived here.

  14. Thank you Kimber, I had the same feeling about Charlie Brown’s ministry that week as you.
As you probably know I was with him day and night for that week. Number one ‘the Bismarck Church’ was
not the object of our time, and second. I never heard Elder Brown say a Thing disparaging about
The Bismarck Church. This has been passed along as gossip. As this whole thing is basically gossip

    1. Brother Lindensmith,
While I appreciate your opinions and your willingness to express them, I want to inform you that our web page is not a forum, but a blog. I am not in any way obligated to post comments. The purpose of sharing what happened with C. Brown is the fact that he, renowned for being able to bring resolution, was unable to do so at Bismarck. Further, to state that “this whole thing is basically gossip”, is unconscionable, as I said on the video, I have documented evidence. Should you choose to post any other such comments, they will likely go unpublished.

  15. Dear Sister, “C. Brown, renowned for being able to bring resolution, was unable to do so at Bismarck.” How do you know this? You don’t even know what the “resolution” was about. I feel you are building your power base by creating division. This type of work is not of God!

    1. Brother Lindensmith, You are assuming my complete ignorance of this situation. I will explain as follows and will post no further comments from you: I do know that Brother Brown was unable to bring resolution, though I stand corrected on the length of time he stayed. I know that he identified the 4 key individuals who were causing the problems at hand and that they were unwilling to own their responsibility. I know what the issue was. Now, you may view this as gossip. I believe, in striving to ascertain why there seems to be such hatred in the Bismarck church, which from the time I set foot there, I felt from many (certainly not all), it is not “gossip” to ask “why is this? What’s going on here?”. If your reasoning were correct, we should not read Sister White’s reports on the tragedy of the 1888 era. You are a pastor, and I am 100% sure that when you arrive at a new church, you listen to its “history”. What I shared in regards to C. Brown was and is a valid point. The division in Bismarck does not spring from our Bible study group; its roots go far deeper.

  16. Brother Kimber,
A careful review of the contents of our website, listening prayerfully to the studies there, would do far more justice to your questions than I could do in a response here. I invite you to avail yourself of the information there.
    God bless you,

  17. “We are standing upon the threshold of great and solemn events. Prophecies are fulfilling. Strange, eventful history is being recorded in the books of heaven. Everything in our world in in agitation. There are wars and rumors of wars. The nations are angry, and the time of the dead has come, that they should be judged. Events are changing to bring about the day of God, which hasteth greatly. Only a moment of time, as it were, yet remains. But while already nation is rising against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, there is not now a general engagement. As yet the four winds are held until the servants of God shall be sealed in their foreheads. Then the powers of earth will marshal their forces for the last great battle.” 6T 14

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation” (1 Thessalonians 5:3-8).

“The characters formed in this life will determine the future destiny. When Christ shall come, He will not change the character of any individual. Precious, probationary time is given to be improved in washing our robes of character and making them white in the blood of the Lamb. To remove the stains of sin requires the work of a lifetime. Everyday renewed efforts in restraining and denying self are needed. Every day there are new battles to fight and victories to be gained. Every day the soul should be called out in earnest pleading with God for the mighty victories of the cross”. 4T 429

“We believe without a doubt that Christ is soon coming. This is not a fable to us; it is a reality. We have no doubt, neither have we had a doubt for years, that the doctrines we hold today are present truth, and that we are nearing the judgment. We are preparing to meet Him who, escorted by a retinue of holy angels, is to appear in the clouds of heaven to give the faithful and just the finishing touch of immortality. When He comes, He is not to cleanse us of our sins, to remove from us the defects in our characters, or to cure us of the infirmities of our tempers and dispositions. If wrought for us at all, this work will all be accomplished before that time. When the Lord comes, those who are holy will be holy still. Those who have preserved their bodies and spirits in holiness, in sanctification and honor, will then receive the finishing touch of immortality. But those whoa re unjust, unsanctified, and filthy, will remain so forever. No work will then be done for them to remove their defects and give them holy characters. The Refiner does not then sit to pursue His refining process and remove their sins and their corruption. This is all to be done in these hours of probation. It is now that this work is to be accomplished for us”. 2T 355

Friends, we are living in perilous AND exciting times. I have found the above quotations very sobering and have examined my own life in their context. I comment not to appeal to one “side” or the “other”, but merely to express my belief that the Devil is a roaring lion and he is out to deceive, if it were possible, the very elect (Matt 24:24), and His coming is very soon. The events of the last several months have been very troubling to me, as I am sure they have been to others. I began thinking, “What is happening?”, “This is serious!” I began to recognize that these were definitely signs of the Lord’s soon return. I began reading and studying in an attempt to “set my house in order”, if you will, but soon began finding precious truths I did not know or fully understand before. Then I read several quotes form the beloved pen of inspiration that helped things become more clear to me……

“I asked the meaning of the shaking I had seen and was shown that it would be caused by the straight testimony called forth by the counsel to the True Witness to the Laodiceans. This will have its effect upon the heart of the receiver, and will lead him to exalt the standard and pour forth the straight truth. Some will not bear this straight testimony. They will rise up against it, and this is what will cause a shaking among God’s people”. Early Writings, 270; read pages 269-273, and also 1T 179-184.

There will be those who profess and follow the “straight testimony” and those who will not, and the agitation and conflict resulting will shake and divide the church. I am not going to define what the “straight testimony” is, but would we not want know what it is and be adherent to the “straight testimony”? Shouldn’t we each be diligently searching the scriptures and Spirit of Prophecy to uncover the buried treasure and know what the “straight testimony” is? The stakes are pretty high. For further reading on the present and future conditions of God’s remnant church, please see Testimonies, vol 5., 76, 84, 207-216.

“Until Christ shall appear in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory, men will become perverse in spirit and turn from the truth to fables. The church will yet see troubleous times. She will prophesy in sackcloth. But although she must meet heresies and persecutions, although she must battle with the infidel and the apostate, yet by the help of God she is bruising the head of Satan. The Lord will have a people as true as steel, and with faith as firm as the granite rock. They are to be His witnesses in the world, His instrumentallities to do a special, a glorious work in the day of His preparation”. 4T 594,595.

We have been shown that only a small number will be saved (2T, 445, 446). Which of us want to be numbered among the few? Is this not what we should be focusing all our effort on? “We are living in a most solemn time. In the last vision given me, I was shown the startling fact that but a small portion of those who now profess the truth will be sanctified by it and be saved. Many will get above the simplicity of the work. They will conform to the world, cherish idols, and become spiritually dead. The humble, self-sacrificing followers of Jesus will pass on to perfection, leaving behind the indifferent and lovers of the world”. 1T, 608,609

“Not one in twenty whose names are registered upon the church books are prepared to close their earthly history, and would be as verily without God and without hope in the world as the common sinner. They are professedly serving God, but are more earnestly serving Mammon. This half-and-half work is a constant denying of Christ, rather than a confession of Christ. So many have brought into the church their own unsubdued spirit, unrefined; their spiritual taste is perverted by their own immoral, debasing, corruptions, symbolizing the world in spirit, in heart, in purpose, confirming themselves in lustful practices, and are full of deception through and through in their professed Christian life. Living as sinners, claiming to be Christians. Those who claim to be Christians and will confess Christ should come out from among them and touch not the unclean thing, and be separate….. I lay down my pen and lift up my soul in prayer, that the Lord would breathe upon his backsliding people, which are as dry bones, that they may live. The end is near, stealing upon us so stealthily, so imperceptibly, so noiselessly, like the muffled tread of the thief in the night to surprise the sleepers off guard and unready. May the Lord grant to bring His Holy Spirit upon hearts that are now at ease, that they may no longer sleep as do others, but watch and be sober”. General Conference Bulletin, February 4, 1893.

Wow, if this doesn’t stir us, they I’m not sure what will. We are spiritually asleep, we think we are spiritually rich and have need of nothing, but do not realize that we are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked (Rev 3:17). “I saw that none could share the ‘refreshing’ unless they obtain the victory over every besetment, over pride, selfishness, love of the world, and every wrong word and action. We should, therefore, be drawing nearer and nearer to the Lord and be earnestly seeking the preparation necessary to enable us to stand in the battle in the day of the Lord. Let all remember that God is holy and that none but holy beings can every dwell in His presence”. EW 71

Then, after I viewed the two videos from Tony Palmer and the pope calling for unity among the world and to do away with doctrines and any thing that would cause disunion, I was stunned. I thought, “This is it!, the next thing right around the corner is Sunday laws! I am in deep need of getting my life in order….no more good intentions, no more a ‘form of godliness but denying the power thereof’ (2 Tim 3:5), this is the real deal!” I want nothing more than to be among that number so I can hear the words ‘well done thou good and faithful servant'(Matt 25:23) and to be counted righteous and holy (Rev 22:11).

Friends, time is short. I think it’s time to focus our attention on things that are of eternal value. It’s time to humbly come before our Lord, moment by moment, and be relieved of our spiritual blindness and poverty of soul. It’s time to claim, through Christ’s righteousness alone, with complete surrender of our will, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, God’s promise for us and to accept our holy calling as God’s peculiar people. Do we look like a peculiar people? Do we act like a peculiar people? Do we eat like a peculiar people? Do we dress and not adorn ourselves like a peculiar people? Do we watch or not watch things as a peculiar people should do? It’s time to awaken from our spiritual slumber be the people God has called us to be.

Satan has the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a special target. He is “wroth with the woman, and went to make war” (Rev 12:17). We are at war. It’s time we focus our attention on putting on the armor of God, fortifying our minds with scripture instead of things of this world, and being sanctified. We don’t have time to be pointing fingers, casting blame or accusing. Now is not the time to try to convince the church that certain people are “off their rocker”, if you will, or fanatics. Now is not the time to focus on “he said, she said”, and dig in our heels as to what we “think” we believe. Now is the time to KNOW what we believe. Now is the time to be warning the church about the times we are living in, now is the time to be preparing the church for the battle, now is the time to call the church to wake up. “Many who complacently listen to the truths from God’s word are dead spiritually, while they profess to live……They assent to the truth, but are not sanctified through it” 5T, 76. Lord, help us to move beyond this state.

In closing, I think of the early church. The apostles were displaying the continuing power in the church and many signs and wonders were done among the people and they were all with one accord (Acts 5:12). The high priest and Sadducees were filled with indignation and laid their hands on the apostles and put them in the common prison (Acts 5:17, 18). But at night, an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out and said “Go stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life.” (Acts 5:19, 20). So one came and told them, saying, “Look, the men whom you put in prison are standing in the temple and teaching the people!” (Acts 5:25). The high priest spoke sternly to them saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this Man’s blood on us!” (Acts 5:28). But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). They were furious, the Bible says, and plotted to kill them. Then one in the council, Gamaliel, a Pharisee and teacher of the law spoke and said to them, “Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do regarding these men. For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain, and all who obeyed him were scattered and come to nothing. After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the census, and drew away many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone: for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it – lest you even be found to fight against God” (Acts 5:34-39).

So rather than deciding who is right or who is wrong, shouldn’t we be deciding what is the “straight testimony” lest we be shaken out? God’s pure, undiluted, undefiled truth will prevail and nothing will stop it. I would not want to be the one found fighting against God. Thus, each of us must determine God’s end time message for ourselves. That should be enough to consume our time rather then worrying about who is right and who is wrong or trying to judge others or stop what we “think” is the wrong message. I appeal to you, friends, that we cannot put all our eggs in the basket with either the present church leadership, our pastors, our conference leadership or those who aspire to holy living, dress differently, eat differently or any such thing. Each of us must stand on our own and must know the reason for our living and being. We must know who Christ is, what He has done for us, we must understand the pillars of our faith and be able to discern the attacks of Satan against us so that we can stand, blameless before our Lord. His coming is very soon. I pray that He will not come to any of us as a thief in the night and find us not ready. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the element will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells” (2 Peter 3:10-13). “Christ is waiting with longing desire for the manifestation of Himself in His church. When the character of Christ shall be perfectly reproduced in His people, then He will come to claim them as His own…..Were all who profess His name bearing fruit to His glory, how quickly the whole world would be sown with the seed of the gospel. Quickly the last great harvest would be ripened, and Christ would come to gather the precious grain.” COL 69

“Satan has come down with great power to work with al deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; and everything that can be shaken will be shaken, and those things that cannot be shaken will remain. The Lord is coming very soon, and we are entering into scenes of calamity”. 9T 62

Finally, this paragraph from the book A Syllabus for Holy Living by Julius Gilbert White says it so well. “This work is to go on until we reach the place where we have become so decided, so determined, so settled, so fixed, that we will never change though all others apostatize and we stand alone; so fixed that false miracles, derision, persecution, and even death itself cannot move us. This it is that God can say, ‘They are now ready, I will take them. It is now safe to transplant them into heaven.’ Moreover, when He gets a church composed of people who have gone that far in their experiences, that will finish His work, and He will come.”

I ask you, as a remnant people, I ask myself, as a remnant believer, have we, have I reached this place? I may not have, but by God’s grace I want to be on the path of sanctification that will bring me to this place. Now is the preparation time to “lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run [make haste to know and to do the will of God (Jolene’s words)] with endurance the race that is set before us, looking until Jesus the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:1, 2).

“Every character will be fully developed; and all will show whether they have chosen the side of loyalty or that or rebellion. Then the end will come.” DA, 763

  18. Don’t you think all this time and energy put into retaliation could be better spent. For example, has anyone reached out the the needy Mexican family that has been faithfully going to church? How about my friends brother who just recently got out of jail and is trying to make a better life, save up some money, and bring his family to him? Or are they not worthy of your time?
I would ask the same questions to the “other side” too so don’t get all worked up about any of my unintentional accusations. My point is you may all disagree on different points but shouldn’t the main goal be the same? Everyone is arguing with other people that are saved, are good people, and are strong in their faith. What about all the people that aren’t saved and need help with their faith? Will they really go unnoticed because of all of this?

  19. Dear Jones:

You bring up very valid and worthwhile points. I will term helping those who are hurting and in need as Christian service. As defined by Julius Gilbert White in his book A Syllabus for Holy Living, which, by the way, I would recommend to anyone who desires a deeper more personal relationship with the Lord, Christian service is any single act performed, or word spoken in the name of Christ to aid any human being to know, love, and serve Him; it is the sum total of all the efforts put forth for the rescue of lost humanity — it is the total task of the Christian church in a sinful world. He goes on to say, our attitude toward mankind reveals how God-like we have become; and when we reach the place that we love and work for humanity as He does, and as Jesus did when He was here, we then have become like Him.

Two areas in scripture come to mind. One is found in Matthew 25:31-40 where the Lord has separated the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. “Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come , you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world; for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.” (Matt 25:34-36). You know the scripture, the people ask, when did we do all these things, and I love His reply, “Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these y brethren, you did it to Me.” (Matt 25:40) The other is found in James 1:27 and simply states, “Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, AND to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

I believe Christian service helps us grow and connects us with Christ. It is a manifestation of what is in the heart. You are so right, Jones, that if we are failing to be of service to others, we are missing a vital part of our Christian experience. Satan is glorified when we are so distracted from what really matters because we are so focused on arguing, fault-finding, and accusing.

May God grant us the discernment to see our errors and recognize that we are clothed with filthy rags. Let us be determined to take OFF those filthy rags and be clothed with Christ’s pure and perfect righteousness so that we may be of whole-hearted, untiring service for Him.

You asked, has anyone helped the Mexican family who has faithfully been coming to church? I cannot speak for others, but, for myself, the answer is “yes”. I don’t say this to brag or bring any glory to myself, but within a couple weeks of when they arrived my family and I took 5 big boxes of food, clothing, household items, etc. to them. The privilege and blessing was all ours. They are very rich spiritually and the experience taught me a lot.

So, yes, that is where our focus should be, and we should be determined to never let Satan interfere and distract us, by whatever means, from a deeper relationship with the Lord filled with love for Him and willing sacrifice for our fellow man. “Wherever there is life, there is increase and growth; in God’s kingdom there is a constant interchange — taking in, and giving out; receiving, and returning to the Lord His own. God works with every true believer, and the light and blessings received are given out again in the work which the believer does. Thus the capacity for receiving is increased. As on imparts of the heavenly gifts, he makes room for fresh current of grace and truth to flow into the soul from the living fountain. Greater light, increased knowledge and blessing, are his. In this work, which devolves upon every church member, is the life and growth of the church. He whose life consists in ever receiving and never giving, soon loses the blessing. If truth does not flow forth from him to others, he loses his capacity to receive. We must impart the goods of Heaven if we desire fresh blessing.” 6T, 448

  20. Kimber, I would like to address your comments. I guess I don’t have the same beliefs. I believe in the Bible and what it says – I take it at face value. I try not to twist things around to make them what I want. I can’t be part of a church that the governing body is hiding things from the flock or not being honest with them – 100% open and honest. I won’t be a part of a church that isn’t forthright about everything – I left a church like that when I was 20 and it left such a bad taste in my mouth I said I would never be a part of organized religion again. I ended up being baptized in the Bismarck Church – But it isn’t the church I was baptized in anymore. OPEN communication would be a wonderful thing. Unfortunately it does not happen. You can’t even have a meeting without having a closed session. You don’t want to hear a group of people, yet you want to hear one person at a time with your group. What is preventing me from coming back to that church is the fact that it seems certain parts of the Bible are no longer pertinent or what is being said in certain parts of the Bible just isn’t realistic expectations. I know God’s word is truth – 100%. One body of united believers – I would love to see that as well. Unfortunately I don’t believe in what is being taught there anymore, nor do I believe in the way things are being run there. I think there has been a horrible mismanagement of money. I think there is a double standard. There have been people singled out and made out to be basically ‘the devils spawn’. I won’t be controlled by a church. I won’t be controlled by a group, or a particular person. God is the only one who has that right in my life. I quit attending the Bismarck Church because I was not receiving a blessing or a message anymore. My mind and my heart need to be fed the right things and I need to be moved by those things in a good way. When I leave my church feeling worse than when I went in, then it is time to leave it for good. I miss a lot of the people there, but I am not going to come back because I miss people. I will come back if God tells me it’s what I need to do. Where the Bible can be opened and taught as it was written without changing the content to meet someone’s ‘agenda’…………that is where I will go to church. God bless.

  21. I am so proud and blessed to have as my friends Jolene, Danna, and Kalon. You are truly witnessing for Jesus, keep up the good work. Love you all.

  22. What a nice Godly couple, very kind and articulate especially under what they have experienced.
Thank you for sharing. Will pray for them.

  24. Jolene,

As I read your comments I am so thankful for the clear pointed testimony that we have in the Word of God and SOP, you have laid it all out for us so well in putting these quotes together. God is so good! We really do need to keep our eyes off of each other and onto ourselves as individuals. For we are not saved in groups. I have this quote on a post it note on my desk that I like, it simply states…

PRIDE is concerned with WHO is right——-HUMILITY is concerned with WHAT is right!!

May God bless you, dear sister, for the time and effort you put into your comment…Thank you so much!!

  25. I believe we are living in the last days of earth’s history and each of must decide for ourselves what is truth. I would like to encourage anyone who has any doubts as to where our church is currently standing to read Elder Stephen Bohr’s book “Worshipping at Satan’s Throne”. His book can be obtained from his website Secrets or call 888-738-1412. May God bless each person who is earnestly seeking to His will.

  26. Hello Jo Ann, If anyone would like to,they can watch “Worshipping at Satan’s Throne” on “‘But Christ…was to bear the penalty of the transgression of the law of God,not to give men liberty to continue in sin,but to take away their inclination to sin, that they might not DESIRE to transgress. Those who receive Christ are obedient to His commands;for His mind is given to them.He imbues them with His spirit of obedience, and they return to Him their loyalty.” Youth Instructor 1899 Praise God for His mighty Power and Love. .”The creative energy that called the worlds into existence is in the Word of God.This Word imparts power; it begets life.Every command is a promise;accepted by the will, received into the soul,it brings with it the life of the infinite One.It transforms the nature and re-creates the soul in the image of God.”ED p.126

  27. Blessings to all.

Thank you everyone for sharing your comments. It is very encouraging to hear voices who are concerned with the truths for this time and the desire to be ready and help others to be ready for His soon return!

Teri, you are recognizing that our message that has been given to Gods remnant church to our founding leaders is seemingly being devalued by many. This message was given under the power of the Holy Spirit and is to stand until we enter the gates of Heaven. Jer 6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
Take courage our prayers are with you, we love you. This is God’s remnant church, we need to raise our voices for His cause!

Jolene What can I say? Well said! Thank you.

    Jo and Jeanne

Thank you for sharing Elder Bohr’s message “Worshipping at Satan’s Throne”. Danna and I just listened to this message and this was a blessing and we would recommend it to all SDAs. It sheds light on what is and has been taking place in history to God’s people and His church. It is dealing with a very important message we as SDAs need to understand for these closing hours of probation, it is the “Foundation of our Faith”.

May God bless each one of you and fill you with truth and understanding that you may go forth to glorify God in all you do. 1 Cor 10:31

  28. Dear Kalon and Dana,
I regret having commented on this issue. I request you remove both my comments.
I’m very happy worshiping in the Bismarck Seventh-day Adventist church. The things said about the church are far fetched and twisted. I know you and your following claim the things said about you are also far fetched and twisted. With that much confusion, I choose to stay with the ship (the organized church) God has promised He will see it thru to the end.

  29. Hi Laurie,

No, you were not chosen to receive the email because you were among those who “don’t follow my teachings”, and are therefore “lost”. If I believed that way, I wouldn’t have sent it to those who DO study with us, since they would be among the “elite”, as we have been pejoratively referred to. You were chosen, as were many whom I have never even met, because someone gave me your email address. Yes, I will remove you from my contacts with no hard feelings whatsoever.

Laurie, I understand, perhaps more than you realize, where you are coming from. I was not raised SDA either, and when I became one, I really didn’t understand our prophetic calling as a people. I simply understood the Sabbath, State of the Dead, that there is a Sanctuary, etc. My parents were also hurt when I became SDA; perhaps devastated is a better term. Rather than go through a big, long explanation, I will simply say this: “Taste and See.” You are welcome to join us for one of our studies and see for yourself what it is all about. You, along with many others, might be surprised.

The Lord bless you, and I will pray for your son.

    Danna G.

  30. Well, let’s see. We have the church militant and the church triumphant.

The first let a Catholic lawyers make them a corporation. Constantly involved in lawsuits involving the use of the words “Seventh-day-Adventist.”. Doesn’t sound like something Jesus would be involved in. I’ve never read in the bible about Jesus investing in the stock market with tithe money and losing it, either. Not to be critical, but doesn’t that sound very worldly to you? We are to come OUT of Babylon, not work in cohorts with it.

God can get his work done without us, but it’s us whom He trusts with it. That’s for a reason. We have to LIVE what we preach. In order to live what we preach, we have to know how to live and do what the bible and SOP says. EGW was definitely our last day’s prophetess. We are not to look weird and outstanding in that respect; We are to live our lives like Jesus did and be beyond reproach as far as God’s law is concerned. This is the church triumphant defined.

I haven’t seen a spot or wrinkle in what Danna and Kalon teach.

The church militant will be helped by the church triumphant in the last days.

Praise the Lord for people like what you see in this video!
