Freshly Ground Flour and Homemade Bread

Freshly Ground Flour and Homemade Bread

I’ve had a lot of requests for a video showing how to make bread, so here it is!  I believe it is important to use freshly ground flour as much as possible in order to get the nutrition we need.  God desires us to be healthy!!  (3John2).  Within mere hours from opening a kernel of grain its nutrient content is far less than when it was whole.  Within as little as a month, the oil in the germ is rancid.  I will show you how to grind your own grain and the tools I use, which are available right over in our store.  Check it out!

  1. Thanks for the video, Danna! I plan on purchasing the grain mill attachment from you in a couple of weeks and want to start making my own bread. I want to ask you, though, what kind of juicer do you use? I’ve always used my Champion for juicing but maybe it’s not so good?

  2. I use my juicer rather frequently and noticed that the juice would warm up quickly if I juiced too long. It is wonderful for other uses, as you mentioned, nut butters, ice cream, etc. I just read a few of the reviews and it seems the juicer is highly rated. It looks like I’ll be adding the juicer to my “items to buy soon” list and I’ll be buying it from you, too! ?

    1. Yes, the Champion is a work horse, but the Tristar juicer is, in my opinion, a Cadillac! The worm gear turns so slowly and the machine is so quiet there’s no need for hearing protection. The pulp comes out super dry, so you know you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck!! Thank you for your support, Pamela! God bless you! 🙂
