  1. The only way for the shaking to happen is through the splintering of the church. This is already been happening for years. It is almost over.
    Just as in the days of the protestant reformation, the true and faithful are joining to obey God rather than a hierarchy [see DA 395.1]. We need to thank God for the persecution and the false doctrine that is causing His true and faithful to separate from the worldly element. This is the way that God will get a pure church without spot or wrinkle.

    1. Amen. There is a lot of peace and clarity when we apply the facts that: (1) the hierarchy is not the true church, and (2) the true church does not have an earthly hierarchy; because (3) earthly hierarchies are idolatrous, and ante-Christ, by nature.
      The word “hierarchy” is derived from the concept of the rule of a high priest. Yes, Jesus Christ is our High Priest–our Lawgiver, our Judge, and our King. His church–in heaven and earth–submits to His rule, and all we are brethren.
      We submit to the true, divine hierarchy when we choose to obey every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. This is the secret of church organization.
      ” In the commission to His disciples, Christ not only outlined their work, but gave them their message. Teach the people, He said, “to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.” The disciples were to teach what Christ had taught. That which He had spoken, not only in person, but through all the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament, is here included. Human teaching is shut out. There is no place for tradition, for man’s theories and conclusions, or for church legislation. No laws ordained by ecclesiastical authority are included in the commission. None of these are Christ’s servants to teach. “The law and the prophets,” with the record of His own words and deeds, are the treasure committed to the disciples to be given to the world. Christ’s name is their watchword, their badge of distinction, their bond of union, the authority for their course of action, and the source of their success. Nothing that does not bear His superscription is to be recognized in His kingdom.” {DA 826.1}

      1. “Let the woman [church–individually and collectively] learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach [human traditions and inventions], nor to usurp authority over the man [Jesus Christ], but to be in silence.” 1 Tim. 2:11, 12.
        “If any man [church] speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11.
        I am deeply indebted to Elder Priebe for his clear expositions of the pillars of our faith, in contrast with error. It seems that God has a work for him to do in certain circles, and that certain scales must be upon his eyes until that work is done. But I trust that the Lord will remove those scales at the very best time.

        1. Regarding the woman/church “speaking”:
          “The “speaking” of the nation is the action of its legislative and judicial authorities.” GC 442.
          The church has not been granted legislative or judicial authority. These are the prerogative of God. The church are simply His agents, part of His executive branch of government, who speak and execute His laws and judgments.
